Customer Service Representatives at McQuillan Bros are the first point of contact for our customers. The purpose of this role is to serve with care and a desire to help those in need. We guide our customers through their problems with empathy and help them get connected to our team of exceptional technicians to get their issues resolved quickly. This team is driven to succeed and make a positive impact on our community.
Duties and responsibilities
The primary tasks of a customer service representative are as follows:
- Answer incoming phone calls and online inquiries for the business
- Maintain a “Call Board” to ensure a full day’s work for the service team
- Contribute to the common good of the business. We don’t say things like “That’s not my job” We are many members of a team that works as one.
- Call our existing customers to remind them of upcoming service visits and specials throughout the year
- Technical work performed and customer interactions will result in online positive reviews. Actively ask customers to complete online reviews and provide feedback online.
- Provide follow up on all estimates for both the comfort consultants and the service.
- Ability to work with senior management to drive the business by maximizing our marketing dollars and booking the calls and inquiries
- Work with a team to drive to the common goals of the business
- Use a computer and appropriately input customer information
- Misc duties as assigned by manager, including but not limited to – packet assembly for service techs, thank you cards for customers, following up on service calls to ask how the experience was and others as assigned.
- During peak seasons the business may require flexibility with hours.
Qualifications
Qualifications include:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to clearly input information into a software system
- Speak English
- Must be able to express empathy
- Be able to express themselves in a constructive manner
- Positive outlook
- Ability to calm people down when they are frustrated
- Service Titan skills a plus

Physical requirements
This job requires sitting or standing at a computer and being on the phone (Headset) for the majority of the day.
